Hi and Welcome to my course. My name is Marianne Centner. My industry experience has spanned the era from in-house sampling and production manufacturing to off shore production. This has literally given me a wealth of information to draw on. I started my career when the fashion industry was only using hand drawing and now we only use digital drawing from concept to production. In the last 5 years I have turned my attention to shoe design. The footwear industry has been a little slower to adopt the full use of digital drawing with accessible software like Adobe Illustrator.
We all know how slow and expensive sample production can be. I see that there is a huge gap and I intend to help you fill this. In this course I will teach you the techniques I use when developing a range. I am passionate about process and efficiency. My methods will save you time and give you the space to be more creative. By the end of my course you will have created a library of brushes, textures and the start to some basic shapes you can re-use.
